Revamping the "References" feature

The "References" feature needs a lot of updation.
1) Customizinf the auto-verify email: The auto-verify email is often confused as a spam emails and it also doesnt look that professional. There should be an option to customize the emails.
2) Edit or Remove References: There should also be an option to edit or remove references so that we could edit the referees details and remove any test references done during testing.
3) Download/Export References responses: This is very important from the compliance perspective. There is no any export or print or download the responses in pdf file. We need that option or else there's no use of having this feature.

Yes to all of this! Auto-verifying references is so important and the feature in Breezy is really clunky. The fact that we can't even "print" the responses to make a pdf for sharing outside of the platform is absurd.

Any updates on this request?? References are important for compliance purposes, and being able to download completed references notes, and editing/removing references also help.

When requesting references through Breezy. We come across that many refree complaining that they are not able to upload the reference letter to the link. They don't want to input answeres of all the questions but would like to upload a reference documents with company letter head and stamp confirming employee worked between so and so date at given location during period of start date to end date at salary level. In UK, majority of employer declining to fill out long winded questions and answers requested on reference. All though there are some organisation who provide the answeres too. So, there is a place for it but it would be good to have refree to upload the documents in PDF. Also, this shoudl be reportable and visible at candidate reference.

For instance, sending automated reminders to candidates regarding scheduled interviews allows for timely responses, facilitating smoother coordination between candidates and hiring managers. Additionally, automating the reference check process streamlines the collection of references, ensuring completeness and efficiency. By automatically requesting references from candidates and tracking the status of reference submissions, recruiters can easily identify outstanding references and take necessary follow-up actions. This proactive approach not only expedites the recruitment process but also ensures compliance with reference requirements. Automated reminders further aid in obtaining references, with notifications prompting candidates to follow up with their referees if needed, ultimately optimizing the overall recruitment workflow. Example: Scheduled Email or workflow automation such as reminder to candidate that interview is scheduled on given date 24 hours allowing them to provide accept, decline and also show the status of candidate interview scheduling like Outlook email that have they accepted or declined or proposing the new time. The reason is in the whole process of recruitment arranging time between candidate and hiring manager is very challenging and another key area delaying the whole process is reference once conditional offer is accepted. The system should be able to request reference to candidate that that please add your reference with 5 years of history without gap. System should be able to identify the gap in employment and also ask the reason for candidate to supply. Once the candidate has supplied all the references then system automatically send the reference request with pre built from on Breezy with ability to upload the evidence from referee. On the dashboard as reference checks or Criminal Records checks, we should be able to see the number of references received, outstanding and number of tries (using automated reminder on regular set time frame) done to obtain the reference. If more than 3 tries being done then candidate will get notification that referee is not providing the reference please chase your referee for compliance.

I agree with your entire posting, but especially your 1st and 3rd point. We are customizing each reference questionnaire that we send out and screenshotting them as they come in rather than exporting them as a document. Thanks for sharing!

Marissa Kula Regarding customizing the reference questionnaire, you dont have to customize each quetions, you can change the master template, check the screenshot below. Other than that, yeah there's a lot changes required in this feature.
