When candidates apply using a referral link, send a notification to the referring employee to let them know their referral has applied and is moving through the pipeline. Our employees contact our recruiters often to make sure their referral has applied, and I would love for them to be notified automatically.

Will the email notification trigger only when the referral applies thru the custom referral link?
Can the email notification also be triggered when the employee uses the "Add Referral" button? That way the employee will get a confirmation we received their referral.
Another useful option would be to send the email notification to the employee when their referral gets hired.
