Issue:

For at least the past several weeks, we've been receiving a steady stream of bot-generated applications through our Breezy careers portal. This is creating real overhead for our recruiting team (sorting through spam, wasted review time) and is costing us money.

Why we're requesting this:

Support suggested enabling email verification to filter these out, but we'd strongly prefer to avoid that route — it adds friction at the point of application and we're concerned it will hurt completion rates for legitimate candidates.

What we're asking for:

We'd like Breezy to consider adding bot/spam protection options that don't require applicant-facing verification steps, such as:

CAPTCHA or invisible bot-detection (e.g., reCAPTCHA v3 / hCaptcha) on the application form

Rate limiting on submissions from the same IP address in a short window

Spam/bot scoring on submitted applications (flagging suspicious ones for review rather than blocking outright)

Honeypot fields or other backend detection methods that don't add user-facing steps

Continued bot volume is affecting recruiter time and costing us money. We'd like to find a solution that protects the applicant experience while giving us a real way to filter this out.
